The term ‘SWOT’ takes me back to my Leadership and Management training many years ago, where I had to identify the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats for the company I worked for.

But what about making it more personal? What about completing a SWOT analysis on yourself?

Have you ever thought about (and maybe even sought feedback on) your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats?

Why not give it a go and ask yourself the following questions;

S – What strengths do I have that will help me achieve my goals?

W – What weaknesses do I need to work on to help me achieve my goals?

O – What do I have available to me that can help me achieve my goals? (e.g. support, training)

T – What could get in the way of me achieving my goals? (e.g. lack of support, new technology, change in legislation)

To gain helpful information from this activity, you really need to be honest. From this activity, you’ll see what you need to work on, who and what can help you and things to consider that could impact.

I hope you find this activity helpful, as you increase your self-awareness.
